General Info
Monarch is a half-day program that meets in Cedar Park, Texas, for 28 weeks (plus orientation) in the fall and spring semesters each year. Families are expected to commit to regular attendance and punctuality and understand that we are responsible for caring for our building and cleaning up after ourselves.

We are not a drop-off program. One parent from each family must commit to teach at least one 40-minute class each semester, and assist in other classes when not teaching. Monarch provides curriculum, lesson plans, and supplies. Parents are expected to prepare (about 30 mins per week outside of co-op day) and come to class ready to teach their subject. Most of us are not professional teachers.

Students are expected to be prepared to participate in a classroom environment, complete take-home assignments in advance, submit work on-time, and engage in age-appropriate activities and discussions in class.
